A momentous occasion! Jonah had his first rice cereal today! Yes, I know he's 6 1/2 months old. Between going back & forth places, and Troy being gone (I wanted him to be there...I know, I'm a bit sentimental...or minus the "senti" if you want...), and not really wanting to take the time & hassle to feed him solids AND nurse...and...ok, fine...because I didn't want to admit that my baby is already old enough to eat normal food when I feel like he just got here, I just hadn't gotten around to it yet. Anyway, he did great! He really want to grab the bowl, but he's not even the one who made a mess. During a break, the bowl was on the floor and psycho Tayah made a mad dash right through the bowl, splattering it all over the floor, Jonah's feet, and her paw. Nice. The best part was watching Troy open his mouth all funny as if it would make Jonah open his...

And this has nothing to do with anything except that while I was blogging and watching "Get Smart", which has been pretty funny so far, I looked down and saw this cute picture that made me smile:

Uh, who DOESN'T love the Boppy? I love it, my babies love it, Troy loves it, Tayah loves it, & I know Matt loved it (but I guess that counts as Troy, since they are the same person...) :)

Ha Ha! Actually, I wondered if anyone would think that & thought about putting a disclaimer, but figured I was over-thinking it. Those are actually pants on the floor; he was hot and changed into shorts, so he did have shorts on under the blanket. :) Why he changed in the middle of living room, though...that's because he's a guy and well, enough said. :)
