Yes, it's true! It's SNOWING! We get snow once or twice a year, but it's just flurries and never sticks. But this time, it is! It started at about 1 pm and it's still going! This is at 3:30 (I love how the snow looks on the desert!):
After Lydia's nap, we went out to play. I almost had to force her...she had no desire to go play in it. She was scared of the snow in Winslow last Christmas. She wanted to play with her friend Caleb (next door neighbor) who was outside, but she didn't want to play in the snow. Somehow I got her all bundled up and Daddy got home right as were we going out, so that helped get her out the door. She was hesitant at first, but then she had a blast! They ran around in the street, ate snowflakes, and Daddy made them a snowman!
And Tayah went NUTS! Slip sliding all over the place like a mad, crazy dog! Here's what it looks like right now at 6 pm. Our neighbors have lived here 6 years and said they've never seen it snow this much! And it's supposed to snow all night!
PS. Luckily, Jonah slept the whole time in his nice, warm bed. It's his first snow, but unfortunately he doesn't get to play in it because he's sick. He's starting to get better though.

How fun! We are so jealous. That's the cutest little snow man I have ever seen.
So fun, what an exciting day in Vegas. I wish it would snow in phoenix sometimes, just to get us in the Christmas mood. Cute pictures!
Nothing quite like the sight of snow on a cactus! I concur...snow in the desert is marvelous.
